What is the scientific description about animal's sight whether colour or black&white images ?

That varies from one species to the next. Some see in colour the same spectrum we do. Others see only in black and white. Others still see parts of the spectrum that we do not, such as ultraviolet and infrared. The mechanisms for detecting light are varied and very complex, a wide range of visual systems are utilised to cover those parts of the spectrum I mentioned.
