I really want to read Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, so I went to Borders a while back and bought the book. But I have only now just realized that the book is an abridged version (translated by Charles E. Wilbour). It is about 640 pages, whereas the real book has about 1488 or so pages. Is it worth it to just read my abridged version? I don't really want to buy another book if I don't have to.
