How do you knit a pair of shorts?

HELPPP. i want to knit a pair of shorts, but the only thing i knitted before was a scarf and im in the process of knitting of a cowl, so if anyone can find a easy pattern or understandable tutorial that a beginner like me can possible attempt, i shall be internally grateful <3
